What this site collects

Nothing on its own. The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. It embeds no content from other services, and its fonts are served from this site.

Hosting

Cloudflare, Inc. delivers this site. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical data of each visit, such as your IP address, the page you asked for, the time and your browser type. This data is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. Cloudflare processes it on my behalf and may do so in the United States and other countries. Cloudflare takes part in the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. How long Cloudflare keeps this data is set out in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is my legitimate interest in a site that works and is secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you email me

If you write to me, I use your address and your message to answer you. I keep them as long as needed for that and for any records the law requires me to keep. My email is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is taking steps you asked for before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and receive it in a common format. Write to the email address above.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority of your country.
